Dr. Khong graduated from The University of Adelaide in 2006. She has practised in both the city and rural areas in Australia, as well as in the private and public sectors in both Singapore and Australia, hence having the privilege of gaining experience from treating a wide spectrum of patients with different dental conditions.
While in Australia, she was also involved in working with the indigenous Australians in Port Augusta to improve their dental habits and health.
She believes strongly in preventive dentistry where as much of the natural dentition is maintained, hence she takes the time to educate her patients on how to best look after their teeth and prevent complex problems. Being ethical and honest, she will only recommend treatment that is important and necessary, and that she would do on her own friends and family.
She enjoys most aspects of dentistry with special interests in aesthetic dentistry, teeth whitening, wisdom tooth surgery and implant dentistry.
Being a big believer of continuing education, Dr Khong enjoys attending dental courses and workshops to upgrade her skills and to learn more about the new advancements in dentistry.
Known for her friendly and caring personality, she strives to make every dental appointment pleasant, pain-free and comfortable for her patients, and is the happiest when they leave the clinic with a bright smile on their faces.
Outside of work, Dr Khong enjoys spending time with her two rabbits, working on issues of animal welfare, reading and exploring the arts and music scenes in Singapore.
