BDS (Western Australia)
Dr. Wong graduated from the University of Western Australia as Doctor of Dental Medicine. She previously practised in Western Australia’s public dental clinics, where she treated patients from all walks of life, including migrants who spoke little to no English. She is also active in dental volunteering, having participated in free clinics by the TIMA association for refugees and the homeless, and in a Nepal dental outreach programme for the rural population.
She believes in making dental visits comfortable and pleasant for her patients and likes to focus on patient education as she believes this is the most beneficial for her patients. Being a dedicated and caring dental practitioner, she finds it most rewarding to see the smiles on their faces.
Besides dentistry, Dr Wong is also a qualified engineer, graduating from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Engineering (Biomedical Engineering) with honours. In her free time, she enjoys Chinese calligraphy, sports like volleyball and badminton, reading and walks in nature.
